It is taken by inhalation. (Drawing into the lungs with the breath)

Active ingredient: Each dose contains 120.50 mcg Salbutamol sulfate, equivalent to 100 mcg Salbutamol.

Excipients: Oleic acid, ethanol (anhydrous), Hydrofluoroalkane (HFA) 134a

Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

VENTACORT contains salbutamol as the active ingredient. It is a member of a group of medicines called fast-acting bronchodilators (bronchodilators) and it widens the airways in the lungs within a few minutes, allowing you to breathe easier.

VENTACORT inhaler is a specially designed metered dose device with an activator. 200 puffs can be made with the inhaler and 100 micrograms of salbutamol is released with each puff.

If your asthma is active (for example, you have frequent symptoms or exacerbations or limited physical ability), inform your doctor. He or she may want you to start using a medication such as an inhaled corticosteroid to control your asthma.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

Adults and adolescents ages 12 and over

Continued use as needed or sudden increases in dosage indicate that your asthma is worsening.

Since overdose may cause undesirable effects, increase the dose and frequency of administration of your medicine only with the advice of your doctor.

When you use your inhalation spray for the first time, test whether it works. Remove the mouthpiece cover by gently squeezing the sides with your thumb and fingers and pull it apart.

If your breathing or wheezing gets worse immediately after taking this medication, stop using it immediately and tell your doctor as soon as possible. If available, try another fast-acting asthma medication as soon as possible.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in VENTACORT.

If any of the following occur, stop using VENTACORT and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital.

If you experience an allergic reaction, stop taking Ventacort Inhaler and consult a doctor immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue and throat, which may make it difficult to swallow or breathe, itchy rash, feeling weak, dizziness and collapse.

These are all very serious side effects.
