VENTOLIN is a member of a group of medicines called “selective beta2 adrenergic receptor agonists”. It contains salbutamol as the active ingredient and expands the airways in the lungs, allowing you to breathe easier.

VENTOLIN; It is presented as a clear, colorless or almost light yellow, viscous, orange-scented liquid in a cardboard box, with an inner cap of 150 ml made of polypropylene and an outer cap made of high density polyethylene (HDPE), in a glass bottle with a plastic child-safe cap and a 5 ml measuring spoon.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

The usual effective dose is 4 mg (10 ml) taken 3 or 4 times a day.

Your doctor may increase or decrease the dose of your medicine depending on the severity of your condition. Each single dose may be increased to a maximum of 8 mg (20 ml).

Use your medicine as recommended by your doctor. Do not increase the frequency of taking your medicine without your doctor’s advice.

Do not exceed the dose prescribed for you. If you think your medicine is not working as it should, consult your doctor.

Like all medicines, VENTOLIN may have side effects in people who are sensitive to its ingredients.

If any of the following occur, stop using VENTOLIN and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital.

If you experience an allergic reaction, stop taking VENTOLIN and consult a doctor immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue and throat, which may make it difficult to swallow or breathe, itchy rash, feeling weak, dizziness and collapse.

These are all very serious side effects.

If you have one of these, it means you have a serious allergy to VENTOLIN. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.
