CRUSIA® SC/IV READY-TO-USE INJECTOR CONTAINING SOLUTION FOR INJECTION 40 mg/0.4 mL

It is administered into a vein (intravenous) or under the skin (subcutaneous).

Active ingredient: Each pre-filled syringe contains enoxaparin sodium 4000 IU anti-Xa activity (equivalent to 40 mg) in 0.4 mL water for injection. Each 1 mL of solution contains enoxaparin sodium 10000 IU anti-Xa activity (equivalent to 100 mg).

This medication is subject to additional monitoring. This triangle will enable rapid identification of new safety information. You can help by reporting any side effects that occur. To learn how to report side effects, see the end of Chapter 4.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

The dose of CRUSIA® you should use may vary depending on which condition it has been prescribed for you.

To prevent blood clots from forming in the following situations:

Periods when movement will be restricted due to surgery or an illness

CRUSIA® can be used for two different types of heart attacks, called STEMI (ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction) or non-STEMI (NSTEMI). The amount of CRUSIA® you will be given will be determined by your age and the type of heart attack you have had.

Like all medicines, there may be side effects in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in CRUSIA®.

If any of the following occur, stop using CRUSIA® or IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital.

Any signs of a severe allergic reaction (for example, difficulty breathing, swelling of the lips, mouth, throat or eyes).

These are all very serious side effects:

If you have one of these, you have a serious allergy to CRUSIA®. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.
