Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

PARCETOL is a medicine that contains 500 mg paracetamol in each tablet and acts as a pain reliever and antipyretic. White, round, scored tablet.

PARCETOL is in blister packs containing 20, 24 and 30 tablets.

PARCETOL is used in the symptomatic (not curative, but relieving the symptoms) treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

PARCETOL is suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age. The recommended dose for adults and children aged 12 years and over is 1-2 tablets, and if necessary, the dose can be repeated at least every 4 hours. The highest daily dose is 4000 mg. However, it should not be used more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

The recommended dose for children aged 6-12 is 1/2-1 tablet every 4-6 hours. The maximum daily dose is 60 mg/kg in divided doses of 10-15 mg/kg.

Always use the lowest effective dose to relieve symptoms.

It should not be used more than the specified dose, and if used, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in PARCETOL.

Undesirable effects of paracetamol are generally mild. Harmful effects are likely to occur if paracetamol is taken in excess of 10 grams (20 pieces of PARCETOL).

If any of the following occur, stop using PARCETOL and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital.

These are very serious side effects. If you have this condition, it means you have a serious allergy to PARCETOL. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.
