Active ingredient: One tablet contains 500 mg paracetamol.

Excipients: Starch, talc, gelatin (beef gelatin), magnesium stearate.

PARASEDOL is a medicine that contains 500 mg paracetamol in each tablet and acts as a pain reliever and antipyretic. PARASEDOL contains beef gelatin.

PARASEDOL is in PVC/Alu blister packages of 20 tablets.

PARASEDOL is used in the symptomatic (not curative, but relieving) treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

PARASEDOL is suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age. The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 1-2 tablets, and if necessary, the dose can be repeated at least every 4 hours. The highest daily dose is 4000 mg. However, it should not be used more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

The recommended dose for children aged 6-12 is 1/2-1 tablet every 4-6 hours. The highest daily dose is 60 mg/kg in divided doses of 10-15 mg/kg.

Always use the lowest effective dose to relieve symptoms.

Due to the risk of liver poisoning (hepatotoxicity) in people who consume alcohol, the daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 2000 mg.

Like all medicines, PARASEDOL may have side effects in people who are sensitive to its ingredients.

Undesirable effects of paracetamol are generally mild. It is possible to have harmful effects if paracetamol is taken in excess of 10 grams (20 pieces of PARASEDOL).

If any of the following occur, stop using PARASEDOL and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital.

These are very serious side effects. If you have this condition, it means you have a serious allergy to PARASEDOL. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.
