Each soft capsule contains 20000 IU (500 mcg) Vitamin D3.

In the prevention and maintenance treatment of vitamin D deficiency: Daily

400-800 I.U. 1 dose of D-COLEFOR 20,000 I.U per month, equivalent to the dose The soft capsule should be used as recommended by the doctor.

For the treatment of vitamin D deficiency for ages 11-18: 3000-5000 I.U. daily. 1-2 doses of D-COLEFOR 20,000 I.U per week, equivalent to the dose The soft capsule should be used as recommended by the doctor.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in D-COLEFOR. Possible side effects may include:

Uncommon (affecting less than 1 in 100 people)

Too much calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia).

Symptoms: feeling sick, loss of appetite, constipation, abdominal pain, excessive thirst, muscle weakness, drowsiness.

Too much calcium in the urine (hypercalciuria)
