Summary

Active ingredient: In each tablet; It contains 602,702 mg of amoxicillin trihydrate, equivalent to 500 mg of amoxicillin, and 314,133 mg of potassium clavulanate, equivalent to 125 mg of clavulanic acid.
Excipients: Povidone K-30, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose pH 102, magnesium stearate, aerosil 200, opadry white for film coating (contains: methylenehydroxy propyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol 4000 and titanium dioxide)

What is it used for?
KLAVUNAT is a broad-spectrum (effective against many types of bacteria and microbes) antibacterial drug and shows its effect by killing bacteria that cause infections.
It contains two different active ingredients called amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin is from a group of medicines called “penicillins” that can sometimes be inactivated (stopped from working), while the other active ingredient, clavulanic acid, prevents the inactivation of amoxicillin.
KLAVUNAT 500 mg/125 mg film-coated tablets, in Alu/Alu blister, 10 or 15 pieces in a box, in the form of almost white, film-coated tablets with “KLAVUNAT” written on one side and elliptical shape on the other side.
KLAVUNAT is used in adults and children for the short-term treatment of bacterial infections caused by bacteria sensitive to KLAVUNAT in the following cases.

Always take KLAVUNAT exactly as your doctor or pharmacist tells you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
For adults and children ≥ 40 kg
Children under 6 years of age should preferably be treated with oral suspension forms of KLAVUNAT. Your doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before using KLAVUNAT tablets for children weighing less than 40 kg. Tablet forms are not suitable for children under 25 kg.
For patients with kidney or liver problems
Side Effects
Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in KLAVUNAT. The following side effects may occur with the use of this medicine.
If any of the following occur, stop using KLAVUNAT and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.
