LARGOPEN is an antibiotic. Its active ingredient is amoxicillin. This substance belongs to a group of drugs called “penicillins”.

LARGOPEN capsule contains 574 mg amoxicillin trihydrate, equivalent to 500 mg amoxicillin, and each box contains 16 or 20 or 100 capsules. It contains white-whitish homogeneous powder in a red-yellow colored capsule number E0.

LARGOPEN is used to treat infections caused by bacteria in different parts of the body. LARGOPEN is also used together with other medications to treat stomach ulcers.

Always use this medicine as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are not sure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

All doses are based on the child’s body weight in kilograms.

Adult and pediatric patients weighing 40 kg or more

The dose of LARGOPEN is 250 mg to 500 mg three times a day or 750 mg to 1 g every 12 hours, depending on the severity and type of infection.

If you have kidney problems, the dose you will use may be less than usual.

Like all other medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in LARGOPEN.

If any of the following occur, stop using LARGOPEN and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.
