PARKYN is produced in tablet form. The 0.25 mg tablet is a white, oval tablet with scores on both sides. PARKYN 0.25 mg tablet is offered to the market in blister packs containing 100 tablets.

Pramipexole, the active ingredient of PARKYN, belongs to a group of drugs called dopamine agonists. Dopamine agonists stimulate dopamine receptors in the brain. Stimulation of dopamine receptors helps control body movements by triggering nerve messages in the brain.

Always take PARKYN exactly as your doctor tells you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor. Your doctor will tell you the dose you should take.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

The daily dose is administered 3 times a day in three equally divided doses.

The usual dose during the first week is half (1/2) tablet of PARKYN 0.25 mg 3 times a day (equivalent to a total daily dose of 0.375 mg):
