What is it used for?
TYLOL Pediatric is a medicine that acts as a pain reliever and antipyretic, in the form of suspension (solution, solid-liquid mixture), containing 120 mg paracetamol in each dose (each 5 ml).
TYLOL Pediatric is offered in a 100 ml bottle.
TYLOL is used in the symptomatic (not curative, but relieving the symptoms of the disease) treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever in pediatric children.
How to use?
Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration
5-10 ml (1-2 scoops; 120-240 mg paracetamol).
2.5-5 ml (half-1 scoop) (60-120 mg paracetamol).
A dose of 2.5 ml (half a scoop) is suitable for babies who develop post-vaccination fever after the 2nd month. It should not be used in babies under two months.
These doses may be repeated 4 times a day, leaving an interval of 4 hours or more between each dose.
Side Effects
Like all medicines, TYLOL Pediatric may have undesirable effects in people who are sensitive to its ingredients.

Skin rash, itching, eczema, allergic edema (related to hypersensitivity), swelling of the face, tongue and throat (angioedema), widespread discharge rashes (acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis), symptoms resembling scalds on the skin (toxic epidermal necrolysis), hypersensitivity that causes a lace-like redness on the hands, face and feet (erythema multiforme).
These are all very serious side effects. If you have one of these, it means you have a serious allergy to TYLOL Pediatric. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.
