Active ingredient: Each scoop (5 ml) of syrup contains 120 mg paracetamol.

Excipients: Contains polyvinylprolidon K30, sodium carboxy methyl cellulose, sodium benzoate, sorbitol (70%) (E420), glycerin, sodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol 400, sucralose, banana flavor and purified water.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

After the 2nd month, a dose of 2.5 ml (half a scoop) is suitable for babies with post-vaccination fever. It should not be used in babies under two months. These doses can be repeated 4 times a day, leaving intervals of 4 hours or longer between each dose.

Maximum 60 mg/kg is used in divided doses of 10-15 mg/kg per day. Do not use for longer than 3 consecutive (consecutive) days without a doctor’s advice.

In people who drink alcohol, the daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 2 grams due to liver toxicity (poisoning).

Like all medicines, SETAPAR may have undesirable effects in people who are sensitive to the ingredients it contains.

Side effects are classified as follows according to their frequency:

If one of the following occurs, stop using SETAPAR and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.

Skin rash, itching, eczema, allergic (hypersensitivity) edema, swelling of the face, tongue and throat (angioedema), widespread discharge rashes (acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis), symptoms resembling scalds on the skin (toxic epidermal necrolysis), hypersensitivity that causes a lace-like redness on the hands, face and feet (erythema multiforme).

These are all very serious side effects. If you have one of these, it means you have a serious allergy to SETAPAR. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.
