TALAVIST 5 mg is available in yellow almond-shaped film-coated tablets. TALAVİST is in blister packaging of 14 or 28 tablets.

TALAVIST belongs to the group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors.

TALAVIST 5 mg is used in the treatment of the following diseases in adult men:

Erectile dysfunction is the inability to achieve or maintain the erection of the penis necessary for sexual activity. TALAVIST has been shown to significantly improve the ability to achieve penile erection suitable for sexual activity. Following sexual stimulation, TALAVIST helps the blood vessels in the penis relax, allowing blood to flow into the penis. As a result, erection occurs in the penis. If you do not have erectile dysfunction, TALAVIST will not help.

It should be taken into consideration that TALAVIST alone will not work in the absence of sexual stimulation. Therefore, you and your partner should engage in preliminary sexual activity as if you were not taking medication to treat erectile dysfunction.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

When using TALAVIST, always take it as your doctor tells you. If you are not sure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Your doctor may adjust the dose according to your response to TALAVIST. TALAVIST tablets are used orally.

Alcohol use can temporarily lower your blood pressure. If you have taken TALAVIST or are considering taking it, avoid excessive alcohol consumption (blood alcohol content should not be 0.08% or more) as it increases the risk of dizziness when standing up.

The generally recommended dose is 10 mg taken at least 30 minutes before anticipated sexual activity. In patients where 10 mg tadalafil does not have a sufficient effect, the dose can be increased to 20 mg. A maximum of 1 dose per day should be used. Tadalafil doses of 10 mg or 20 mg should be taken before anticipated sexual activity and are not recommended for continuous daily use.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in this medicine. These effects are normally mild to moderate.

If any of the following occur, stop using TALAVIST and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.

Headache, backache, muscle aches, pain in arms and legs, facial flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion

Dizziness, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, reflux, blurred vision, eye pain, difficulty breathing, presence of blood in the urine, prolonged erection, palpitations, fast heartbeat, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, nosebleeds and ringing in the ears, swelling in the hands, feet and ankles and feeling tired.
