OLMECOMB PLUS FILM COATED TABLET 40 mg/5 mg/12.5 mg

Active ingredients: Each film-coated tablet contains 40 mg olmesartan medoxomil, 6.93 mg amlodipine besylate (equivalent to 5 mg amlodipine) and 12.5 mg hydrochlorothiazide.

Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate DC (cow’s milk source), croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, magnesium stearate, opadry 85G23639 orange (Contains: pva, talc, polyethylene glycol, lecithin (soy) (E322), titanium dioxide (E171), yellow iron oxide (E172iii), red iron oxide (E172ii)).

Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

OLMECOMB PLUS contains three active ingredients: olmesartan medoxomil, amlodipine (as amlodipine besylate) and hydrochlorothiazide. All three substances help control high blood pressure (high blood pressure).

OLMECOMB PLUS 28, 30 and 90 film-coated tablets are available as orange, oblong, biconvex film-coated tablets.

The effects of these substances contribute to lowering your blood pressure.

It is used in the treatment of high blood pressure.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

Always use OLMECOMB PLUS as recommended by your doctor. If you are unsure about anything, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

The daily dosage of OLMECOMB PLUS is one tablet per day.

Tablets can be taken on an empty or full stomach. Swallow the tablet with some liquid (e.g. a glass of water). The tablet should not be chewed. Do not take the tablet with grapefruit.

If possible, take your daily dose at the same time each day, for example at breakfast time.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in OLMECOMB PLUS. These side effects are mostly mild and do not require discontinuation of treatment.

If any of the following occur, stop using OLMECOMB PLUS and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital.

Severe skin reactions including extensive skin rash, urticaria, redness of your skin all over your body, severe itching, blistering, peeling and swelling of the skin, inflammation of mucous membranes (Stevens Johnson Syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis) or other allergic reactions.

The following two side effects can be serious, although they do not occur in many people:

During OLMECOMB PLUS treatment, allergic reactions may occur that affect the whole body, causing swelling of the face, mouth and/or larynx (larynx), and causing itching or skin rash.
