NEOFLEKS 3% HYPERTONIC SODIUM CHLORIDE SOLUTION IN WATER

NEOFLEKS 3% HYPERTONIC is a solution for intravenous use offered in 50 ml, 100 ml, 150 ml and 250 ml polypropylene bags. It contains essential elements of the body called sodium and chloride ions.

NEOFLEKS 3% HYPERTONIC solution is used in the treatment of severe electrolyte deficiency resulting from sodium chloride loss, which must be corrected quickly. It is also used in the treatment of insufficiency of sodium in the blood and insufficiency of chloride in the blood, which may occur in electrolyte and fluid therapy. It is also used in case of decreased sodium in the extracellular blood (water intoxication) as a result of excessive water intake. Heavy salt losses in cases such as excessive sweating, vomiting and diarrhea are also treated with this solution.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

Your doctor will determine the dose of your medicine depending on your disease and administer it to you.

The average starting dose is 100 ml and this should be given within 1 hour.

In children, the dose can be calculated according to body weight.

It should be used with extreme caution in the elderly.
