What is it used for?
MINAMOL is a drug that acts as a pain reliever and antipyretic, in the form of suspension (solution, solid-liquid mixture), containing 120 mg paracetamol in each dose (each 5 ml).
MİNAMOL is presented in a 150 ml, amber colored bottle.
MINAMOL is used in the symptomatic (not curative, but relieving the symptoms of the disease) treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever in children.
How to use?
Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration
10-15 mg/kg/dose every 6 hours (maximum 500 mg at a time for children over 30 kg), maximum daily dose is 60 mg/kg (maximum 2 grams per day for children over 30 kg). The minimum dosing interval should be 4 hours and should not be given more than 4 times a day.
A dose of 2.5ml (half a scoop) is suitable for babies who develop post-vaccination fever after the 2nd month. It should not be used in babies under two months.
“MINAMOL PLUS 250 mg/5 ml Oral Suspension” is recommended for children over 6 years of age and adults who have difficulty swallowing tablets.
Maximum 60 mg/kg is used in divided doses of 10-15 mg/kg per day.
Side Effects
Like all medicines, there may be undesirable effects in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in MINAMOL.

If any of the following occur, stop using MINAMOL and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.
Skin rash, itching, eczema, allergic (related to hypersensitivity), edema, swelling of the face, tongue and throat (angioedema), widespread discharge rashes (acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis), symptoms resembling scalding on the skin (toxic epidermal necrolysis), hypersensitivity causing a lace-like redness on the hands, face and feet (erythema multiforme).
These are all very serious side effects. If you have one of these, it means you have a serious allergy to MINAMOL. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.
