LARGOPEN® DRY POWDER FOR PREPARING SUSPENSION 250 mg/5 mL

It contains 294.12 mg of amoxicillin trihydrate (calf source), equivalent to 250 mg of amoxicillin.

Excipients: Raspberry essence, sodium saccharin dihydrate, carmellose sodium, disodium EDTA, disodium phosphate dihydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, erythrosine dye (scarlet source), sucrose (powdered sugar), colloidal anhydrous silica.

Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

LARGOPEN is an antibiotic used in diseases caused by microorganisms called bacteria. Amoxicillin disrupts the cell walls of bacteria, causing their death.

LARGOPEN suspension contains 250 mg amoxicillin (as amoxicillin trihydrate (calf origin)) in each 5 mL dose and has the appearance of a white-whitish, raspberry-scented homogeneous powder. It is presented in a 100 mL amber glass bottle marked 80 mL, in a cardboard box with a measuring spoon marked 2.5 and 5 mL and instructions for use.

Your doctor will determine the dose you will receive and the duration of treatment with LARGOPEN.

In children and adults weighing over 40 kg

It is recommended that the total daily dose calculated per kilogram of body weight be given in 2 or 3 equal doses.

LARGOPEN is taken orally after dilution.

Like all medicines, there may be side effects in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in LARGOPEN.
