KATARİN® PEDIATRIC SYRUP 120 mg+50 mg+ 1 mg/5 ml

Active ingredients: 240 mg paracetamol, 100 mg oxolamine citrate, 2 mg chlorpheniramine maleate,

Excipients: Contains sodium benzoate (E211), monopropylene glycol (E1520), glycerin, sorbitol (E420), povidone, citric acid monohydrate (E330), sodium cyclamate, saccharin sodium (E954), ponsa 4R (E124), strawberry flavor, banana flavor, pure water.

Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

KATARİN® Syrup is a dark pink, clear solution. KATARİN® is presented in a 100 ml honey-coloured glass bottle with a 10 ml spoon measuring and closed with a safety ring cap.

KATARİN® is a combined drug containing three active ingredients: an analgesic and antipyretic (paracetamol), an antiallergic (chlorpheniramine maleate) and an antitussive (oxolamine citrate), which dilutes the secretions with its phlegm-dissolving effect and thus treats cough.

KATARİN® is used to relieve complaints such as pain, fever, sneezing, cough, runny nose and nasal congestion seen in acute infections of the upper respiratory tract such as flu, flu and cold.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

In children over 12 years of age and adults:

Take 1-1.5 scoops (10-15 ml) at a time. This dose can be repeated 3-4 times a day at 6-8 hour intervals. You can take a maximum of 6 scoops in a day, do not exceed this dose.

Take 1/2-1 scoop (5-10 ml) at a time. This dose can be repeated 3-4 times a day at 6-8 hour intervals. You can take a maximum of 4 scoops in a day, do not exceed this dose.

Due to the risk of liver poisoning (hepatotoxicity) in people who consume alcohol, the daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 2000 mg.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in KATARİN®.

If one of the following occurs, stop using KATARİN® and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.

These are all very serious side effects. If you have one of these, it means you have a serious allergy to KATARIN®. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.

All of these very serious side effects are extremely rare.
