Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

GAVISCON; It is a cream-coloured, mint-scented liquid.

GAVISCON; It is supplied in an amber colored 200 ml bottle in a cardboard box.

GAVISCON is used in the treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux (inflammation of the stomach and esophagus), such as indigestion, heartburn and acid coming from the stomach to the mouth, in patients with complaints caused by reflux esophagitis (inflammation of the esophagus), during pregnancy or after meals (caused by reflux).

Your doctor will determine the dose you will receive and the duration of treatment with GAVISCON. Do not interrupt or extend the treatment on your own.

Unless your doctor recommends otherwise, use GAVISCON as follows.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

GAVISCON is used orally. Shake well before use.

GAVISCON is used for adults and children over 12 years of age, 10-20 ml (2-4 teaspoons) after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.

Like all medicines, GAVISCON may have side effects in people who are sensitive to the ingredients it contains.

If any of the following occur, stop using GAVISCON and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital

These are all very serious side effects. If you have one of these, it means you have a serious allergy to GAVISCON. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.

All of these very serious side effects are extremely rare.
