Active ingredient: Each 5 mL contains 472.81 mg amoxicillin trihydrate, equivalent to 400 mg amoxicillin activity, and 67.94 mg potassium clavulanate, equivalent to 57 mg clavulanic acid activity (co-amoxiclav 400/57).
Excipients: Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, syloid AL-1 (silicon dioxide), xanthan gum, saccharin sodium, aerosil 200, raspberry flavor TR 9570.

What is it used for?
CLAVUNATE is an antibiotic used in the treatment of infections and works by killing the bacteria that cause the infection. It contains two active ingredients, a penicillin called amoxicillin (as amoxicillin trihydrate) and clavulanic acid (as potassium clavulanate), which functions by preventing amoxicillin from inactivating.
KLAVUNATE is available in brown glass bottles as a dry powder that yields 70 mL and 100 mL suspension when reconstituted. It comes with a 5 mL measuring spoon.
KLAVUNAT is used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible organisms in the following cases:
Upper respiratory tract infections such as recurrent tonsillitis, sinusitis caused by bacteria, acute otitis media
Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, lower respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia
