BRECUR METERED DOSE AEROSOL FOR INHALATION 100 micrograms

Active ingredient: 100 micrograms salbutamol (as salbutamol sulfate) per dose

Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

BRECUR contains salbutamol sulfate as the active ingredient. It is a member of a group of medicines called fast-acting bronchodilators (bronchodilators) and it widens the airways in the lungs within a few minutes, allowing you to breathe easier.

BRECUR is a specially designed metered dose device with an activator. 200 puffs can be made with the inhaler and 100 micrograms of salbutamol is released with each puff.

If your asthma is active (for example, you have frequent symptoms or exacerbations or limited physical ability), inform your doctor. He or she may want you to start using a medication such as an inhaled corticosteroid to control your asthma.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

Adults and adolescents ages 12 and over

Constant need for as-needed use or sudden increases in dose indicate worsening of your asthma.

Since overdose may cause undesirable effects, increase the dose and frequency of administration of your medicine only with the advice of your doctor.

The inhalation spray, which is marketed in a cardboard box, is placed in protective packaging for security purposes.

If your breathing or wheezing gets worse immediately after taking this medication, stop using it immediately and tell your doctor as soon as possible. If available, try another fast-acting asthma medication as soon as possible.

Like all medicines, there may be side effects in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in BRECUR.

If any of the following occur, stop using BRECUR and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital:

If you experience an allergic reaction, stop taking BRECUR and consult a doctor immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue and throat, which may make it difficult to swallow or breathe, itchy rash, feeling weak, dizziness and collapse.

These are all very serious side effects.
