WEGOVY® READY-TO-USE PEN WITH INJECTION SOLUTION 1.7 mg

Active ingredient: Each pre-filled pen contains 6.8 mg semaglutide in 3 mL solution.

Excipients: Disodium phosphate dihydrate, propylene glycol, phenol, hydrochloric acid/sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment), water for injections

Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

BMI (Body Mass Index) is a measure of your body weight compared to your height. WEGOVY® is used as an adjunct to diet and physical activity for weight loss and weight maintenance in adults with Body Mass Indexes (BMI) as follows.

WEGOVY® should not be used with any other semaglutide-containing product or other GLP-1 receptor agonist agents.

Always use this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. If you are not sure, ask your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

You will be told to follow the table below.

Your doctor will evaluate your treatment regularly.

WEGOVY® is administered by injection under the skin (subcutaneous injection). Do not inject into a vein or muscle.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in WEGOVY®.

If any of the following occur, stop using WEGOVY® and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital

These are all very serious side effects. Immediate medical attention may be required.

Warning symptoms of low blood sugar can appear suddenly. These may include; cold sweats, cold and pale skin, headache, fast heartbeat, feeling sick (nausea) or very hungry, visual disturbances, feeling sleepy or sluggish, feeling nervous, anxious or confused, difficulty concentrating or trembling.
