VITOEL-D3 contains the active ingredient cholecalciferol (obtained from sheep wool) (Cholecalciferol is also known as vitamin D3). It contains edible gelatin (beef gelatin) as an excipient.

It is used in the treatment, maintenance and prophylaxis (prevention) of vitamin D deficiency.

Each soft capsule contains 20,000 I.U. Contains (0.5 mg) Vitamin D3.

For the prevention and maintenance treatment of vitamin D deficiency for ages 11-18, 400-800 I.U per day. 1 dose of VİTOEL-D3 20,000 I.U per month, equivalent to the dose The soft capsule should be used as recommended by the doctor.

For the treatment of vitamin D deficiency for ages 11-18: 3,000-5,000 I.U. daily. 1-2 doses of VİTOEL-D3 20,000 I.U. per week, equivalent to a dose of 20,000 I.U. The soft capsule should be used as recommended by the doctor.

In the prevention and maintenance treatment of vitamin D deficiency: 600-1,500 I.U. daily. 1-2 doses of VİTOEL-D3 20,000 I.U. per month, equivalent to a dose of 20,000 I.U. The soft capsule should be used as recommended by the doctor.

Treatment of vitamin D deficiency: 7,000-10,000 I.U. daily. 1 piece of VİTOEL-D3 20,000 I.U every 2 days, equivalent to a dose of 20,000 I.U. Follow-up 25(OH)D measurements should be made approximately three to four months after starting follow-up treatment to confirm that the target level has been achieved.

Too much calcium in the blood (hypercalcemia). Symptoms: feeling sick, loss of appetite, constipation, abdominal pain, excessive thirst, muscle weakness, drowsiness.

Too much calcium in the urine (hypercalciuria)
