VIGRANDE film-coated tablets are available as blue, oval, bioconvex, film-coated tablets with notches on both sides, containing 50 mg sildenafil, in packages of 4 and 8 tablets. The purpose of the notch is to allow the tablet to be divided into two.

VIGRANDE belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by helping the blood vessels in the penis relax and allowing blood to flow to the penis during sexual stimulation.

VIGRANDE helps you achieve a natural erection only if you are sexually stimulated. If you do not have erection problems, you should not use VIGRANDE. Erectile dysfunction is the inability of a man to achieve or maintain a penile erection necessary for sexual activity. VIGRANDE is not for use by women.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

You should take VIGRANDE approximately one hour before sexual activity. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

VIGRANDE should not be used in those under 18 years of age.

No special dosage adjustment is required for elderly patients.

A dose of 25 mg VIGRANDE is recommended in patients with severe renal impairment.

Like all medicines, VIGRANDE may have side effects in people sensitive to its ingredients. Side effects were generally transient or moderate in severity. The following side effects have been reported at recommended doses.
