Summary

What is it used for?
SULCID is an oral antibiotic containing sulbactam and ampicillin.
They are film-coated tablets in the form of white capsules.
SULCID is available in boxes containing 10, 14 and 20 tablets in aluminum foil blister.
SULCID is used in the following situations:
SULCID, upper respiratory tract infections, including sinusitis, otitis media, tonsillitis, caused by certain microbes; lower respiratory tract infections, including pneumonia, bronchitis; urinary tract and kidney infections; It is used in the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections and gonorrhea infections.
How to use?
Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration
Unless your doctor recommends otherwise, the recommended daily dose of SULCID is 1-2 tablets (375-750 mg) taken every 12 hours.
In the treatment of gonorrhea, 6 tablets (2.25 g) are taken once a day. Your doctor may prescribe an additional medication to treat gonorrhea.
Your doctor will determine how long your treatment will last. Do not stop your treatment even if you feel that you are getting better.
In the treatment of infections caused by group A beta-hemolytic streptococci, it is recommended to continue the treatment for at least 10 days in order to prevent the occurrence of rheumatic fever or kidney inflammation.
Side Effects
Like all medicines, there may be side effects in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in SULCID.
