RANDOM NOTCHED FILM COATED TABLET 25 mg

Active ingredient: 36.9 mg dexketoprofen trometamol equivalent to 25 mg dexketoprofen

Excipients: Microcrystalline cellulose (pH 101), corn starch, sodium starch glycolate (Type A), glyceryl distearate, opadry II 85F18422 white (polyvinyl alcohol, titanium dioxide, PEG 3350 powder, talc).

Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

RASTEL is a painkiller from the group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Treating the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis (destruction and calcification in the joints), rheumatoid arthritis (inflammatory joint disease and ankylosing spondylitis (painful progressive rheumatism, mostly with stiffness in the joints of the spine), acute gouty arthritis (painful joint inflammation due to gout), acute musculoskeletal pain (e.g. lower back pain), postoperative pain (pain after surgery) and dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation). It is used in the treatment of periods).

RASTEL is a white, round, notched, film-coated tablet containing 25 mg dexketoprofen (as trometamol) and is available in packages of 20,30 tablets. Tablets can be divided into two equal parts.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

Always take RASTEL exactly as your doctor tells you. When you are not sure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms. If you have an infection and symptoms (such as fever and pain) persist or worsen, consult a doctor immediately (see Chapter 2).

The dose of RASTEL you need depends on the type, severity and duration of your pain. Your doctor will tell you how many tablets you should take per day and for how long.

The recommended dose is usually 1 tablet (25 mg) every 8 hours, not to exceed 3 tablets (75 mg) per day.

Like all medicines, RASTEL may cause side effects, although not everyone may experience them, and side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the substances contained in RASTEL.

Possible side effects are listed below in order of how often they occur. This table shows how many patients may experience these side effects:

If any of the following occur, stop using RASTEL and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.

These are all very serious side effects.

If you have one of these, it means you have a serious allergy to RASTEL. You may need emergency treatment or hospitalization.
