PİROFEN is a medicine that contains 500 mg paracetamol in each tablet and acts as a pain reliever and antipyretic.

PİROFEN is in blister packs containing 20 tablets.

PİROFEN is used in the symptomatic (not curative, but relieving the symptoms) treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

PİROFEN is suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age. The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 1-2 tablets and can be repeated every 4 hours if necessary. However, it should not be used more than 4 doses in 24 hours. The recommended dose for children aged 6-12 is 1/2-1 tablet every 4-6 hours. The maximum daily dose is 60 mg/kg in divided doses of 10-15 mg/kg.

It should not be used more than the specified dose, and if used, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

It is taken orally. Swallow it with a glass of water.

It should not be given to children under 6 years of age unless recommended by a doctor.

Like all medicines, PİROFEN may have side effects in people who are sensitive to the ingredients it contains.

Undesirable effects of paracetamol are generally mild. If paracetamol is taken in excess of 10 grams (20 pieces of PYROFEN), it is possible to have harmful effects.

If one of the following occurs, stop using PİROFEN and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.

These are very serious side effects. If you have this condition, it means you have a serious allergy to PİROFEN. You may need urgent medical attention or hospitalization
