What is it used for?
GAVISCON ADVANCE; It is a whitish, viscous suspension with a mint odor.
GAVISCON ADVANCE; It is supplied in amber colored 200 ml bottles in a cardboard box.
GAVISCON ADVANCE belongs to a group of medicines called reflux suppressants.
GAVISCON ADVANCE is used in patients with symptoms related to reflux esophagitis (inflammation of the esophagus) or in the treatment of symptoms related to gastroesophageal reflux (inflammation of the stomach and esophagus), such as heartburn, acid coming from the stomach to the mouth and indigestion (due to reflux) during pregnancy or following a meal.
How to use?
Your doctor will determine the dose you will receive and the duration of treatment with GAVISCON ADVANCE.
Do not interrupt or extend the treatment on your own.
Unless your doctor recommends otherwise, use GAVISCON ADVANCE as follows.
Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration
GAVISCON ADVANCE is used for adults and children over 12 years of age, 5-10 ml (1-2 teaspoons) after meals and at bedtime.
Side Effects
Like all medicines, GAVISCON ADVANCE may have side effects in people who are sensitive to the ingredients it contains.
