What is it used for?

The active ingredient of FEXOFEN is fexofenadine hydrochloride. 1 film-coated tablet contains 120 mg fexofenadine hydrochloride. Tablets are pink in color, oblong in shape, film-coated.

FEXOFEN is available in cardboard box packages containing blisters of 10 and 20 film-coated tablets.

FEXOFEN is available in 2 dosage forms. FEXOFEN 180 contains 180 mg fexofenadine hydrochloride in a film-coated tablet. FEXOFEN 120 contains 120 mg fexofenadine hydrochloride in a film-coated tablet.

FEXOFEN belongs to the group of antihistamine drugs. Antihistamine medications improve symptoms such as sneezing, itchy runny nose, redness and watery eyes that occur with the disease called hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis).

How to use?

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

The recommended dose of fexofenadine hydrochloride for adults and children aged 12 years and over is 120 mg once a day. (1 piece per day, FEXOFEN 120 mg Film-coated Tablet)

FEXOFEN is used orally. Swallow the tablets with a glass of water in the amount recommended by your doctor. Take the tablets before meals.

If you use antacid medications containing aluminum or magnesium for your indigestion complaints, leave a 2-hour interval between taking these medications and swallowing FEXOFEN.

FEXOFEN is not used in children under 12 years of age because its safety and effectiveness have not yet been proven.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in FEXOFEN.

If any of the following occur, stop taking FEXOFEN and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital.
