DELODAY is a drug used against allergies that does not cause drowsiness. It helps control allergic reactions and allergy symptoms.

DELODAY is in the form of round, convex, blue film-coated tablets containing 5 mg desloratadine.

DELODAY is offered to the market in PVC/PVDC Transparent-Aluminum Blister strips containing 20 and 30 film-coated tablets, in a cardboard box with instructions for use.

DELODAY relieves symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (e.g. hay fever, allergy to house dust mites), such as sneezing, runny and itchy nose, itching on the palate, and itching, redness or watering in the eyes.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

Adults and children ages 12 and over

The recommended dose is one tablet once a day. Take the tablet with water, with or without food.

This medicine is used orally. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water on an empty or full stomach.

Like all medications, this medication may cause side effects.

During the time desloratadine was marketed, cases of severe allergic reactions (difficulty breathing, wheezing, itching, hives and swelling) were reported very rarely. If you notice any of these serious side effects, stop taking the medicine and seek urgent medical advice immediately.

In clinical studies in adults, side effects were found to be almost identical to those observed with the placebo tablet. However, fatigue, dry mouth, and headache were reported more frequently than with the placebo tablet.
