Each film-coated tablet contains 5 mg tadalafil.

Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

CIALIS 5 mg is available in light yellow film-coated tablets. The tablets are almond-shaped and marked “C 5” on one side. It is in a blister pack of 14 or 28 tablets.

CIALIS belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors.

CIALIS 5 mg is used to treat the following diseases in adult men:

Erectile dysfunction is the inability to achieve or maintain the erection of the penis necessary for sexual activity. CIALIS has been shown to significantly improve the ability to achieve penile erection suitable for sexual activity. Following sexual stimulation, CIALIS helps the blood vessels in the penis relax, allowing blood to flow into the penis. As a result, erection occurs in the penis. CIALIS will not help if you do not have erectile dysfunction.

It should be noted that CIALIS alone will not work in the absence of sexual stimulation. Therefore, you and your partner should engage in preliminary sexual activity as if you were not taking medication to treat erectile dysfunction.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

When using CIALIS, always take it as directed by your doctor. If you are not sure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose is one 5 mg tablet once a day taken at approximately the same time each day. Your doctor may adjust the dose depending on your response to CIALIS. CIALIS tablets are used orally.

Alcohol use can temporarily lower your blood pressure. If you have taken CIALIS or are considering taking CIALIS, avoid excessive alcohol consumption (blood alcohol content should not be 0.08% or more) as this increases the risk of dizziness when standing up.

The generally recommended dose is 10 mg (2×5 mg) taken at least 30 minutes before anticipated sexual activity. In patients where 10 mg (2×5 mg) tadalafil does not have a sufficient effect, the dose can be increased to 20 mg.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in this medicine. These effects are normally mild to moderate.

If any of the following occur, stop using CIALIS and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital:

Headache, backache, muscle aches, pain in arms and legs, facial flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion.

Uncommon side effects (may affect less than 1 in 100 but more than 1 in 1,000 patients)
