BACTRIM I.V. AMPOULE CONTAINING INJECTION SOLUTION 400 mg/80 mg

Active ingredient: Contains 80 mg sulfamethoxazole and 16 mg trimethoprim in each 1 ml, 400 mg sulfamethoxazole and 80 mg trimethoprim in 5 ml (total volume).

Excipients: Propylene glycol, ethanolamine, anhydrous ethanol, sodium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide (10% solution) and water for injection.

BACTRIM is offered as a 5 ml ampoule. It is a colorless, clear solution that does not contain visible particles.

Standard dosing recommendations for acute infections

Treatment should be continued for 2 days until symptoms disappear. Treatment with BACTRIM should be continued for at least 5 days. If there is no improvement after 7 days of treatment, you should be re-evaluated by your doctor.

In case of serious infections, the dose can be increased by 50%.
