Excipients: OSMOLAK® does not contain any excipients, but may contain small amounts of other sugars (e.g. lactose from bovine milk, galactose, epilactose, fructose).

OSMOLAK® is a clear, viscous liquid, colorless or pale brownish yellow solution for oral use.

It is presented in glass bottles with a spoon and scale.

The active ingredient lactulose in the solution is obtained from lactose originating from bovine milk.

OSMOLAK® contains a laxative called lactulose. Lactulose softens the stool (stool) by drawing water into the intestine and facilitates its passage through the intestine. Lactulose is not absorbed by your body.

If any of the following occur, stop using OSMOLAK® and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.

These are all very serious side effects.
