VENTOLIN NEBULIZATION SOLUTION 2.5 mg/2.5 ml

Active ingredients: Each dose contains 3 mg salbutamol sulfate, equivalent to 2.5 mg salbutamol.

VENTOLIN contains salbutamol as the active ingredient; It is a member of a group of drugs called “fast-acting bronchodilators (bronchodilators)”.

VENTOLIN; It is in the form of a clear, colorless to light yellow solution. VENTOLIN are plastic nebules containing salbutamol solution in normal saline. Each nebula contains 2.5 ml of solution and there are 20 nebules in each box. VENTOLIN, which is in liquid form inside the nebules, is turned into vapor with the help of a device called “nebulizer”. VENTOLIN, which is inhaled through the mouth and taken into the lungs, expands the airways within a few minutes, allowing you to breathe easier.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

Always use this medicine as directed by your doctor. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

The starting dose is 2.5 mg by moist inhalation. The dose can be increased up to 5 mg. The treatment can be repeated 4 times a day.

Adults with very severe airway obstruction may receive doses as high as 40 mg per day in hospital under very close medical supervision.

VENTOLIN can be used at any time of the day, hungry or full.

If your breathing or wheezing gets worse immediately after taking this medication, stop using the medication immediately and tell your doctor as soon as possible. If available, try another fast-acting asthma medication as soon as possible.

Like all medicines, VENTOLIN may have side effects in people who are sensitive to its ingredients.

If any of the following occur, stop using VENTOLIN and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital.
