Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

TAMOL is a medicine that contains 500 mg paracetamol in each tablet and acts as a pain reliever and antipyretic.

TAMOL is in blister packs containing 20 and 30 tablets.

TAMOL is used in the symptomatic (not curative, but relieving the symptoms) treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

TAMOL is suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age. The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 1-2 tablets, and if necessary, the dose can be repeated at least every 4 hours. The highest daily dose is 4000 mg. However, it should not be used more than 4 doses in 24 hours. The recommended dose for children between the ages of 6-12 is 1/2-1 tablet every 4-6 hours. The highest daily dose is 60 mg/kg in divided doses of 10-15 mg/kg.

Always use the lowest effective dose to relieve symptoms.

It should not be used more than the specified dose, and if used, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Due to the risk of liver poisoning (hepatotoxicity) in people who consume alcohol, the daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 2000 mg.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in TAMOL.

Undesirable effects of paracetamol are generally mild. Harmful effects are likely to occur if paracetamol is taken in excess of 10 grams (20 TAMOL).
