Active ingredient: Each vial contains 77.69 mg caspofungin acetate, equivalent to 70 mg caspofungin, as the active ingredient.

CANCAS contains a medicine called caspofungin. This medication belongs to a group called antifungals.

CANCAS is used to treat the following infections in children, adolescents, and adults:

CANCAS weakens the fungal cells and stops the fungus from growing properly. Thus, it stops the spread of the infection and gives the body’s natural defense mechanisms a chance to completely clear the infection.

CANCAS 70 mg in box; It is marketed in 10 mL Type I colorless glass vials with a gray bromobutyl lyophilized stopper and a plastic orange flip-off cap, closed with an aluminum hood, in packages of 1.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

CANCAS will always be prepared and administered by your doctor or a healthcare professional. Your doctor will determine your treatment duration and how much CANCAS you will take each day. Your doctor will monitor how useful the medicine is for you. If your body weight is over 80 kg you may need a different dose.

CANCAS should be administered slowly once a day by injection into a vein (intravenous infusion), lasting approximately 1 hour.

The dose for children and adolescents may differ from the adult dose.

No dosage adjustment is required in the elderly; However, increased sensitivity in some elderly individuals should not be ignored.
