READY TO USE INJECTOR CONTAINING OKSAPAR INJECTION SOLUTION 4000 anti-Xa IU/0,4 ml

It is applied subcutaneously or intravenously.

Active ingredient: 1 ml solution contains 100 mg enoxaparin sodium, equivalent to 10000 anti-Xa IU. Each pre-filled syringe containing 0.4 ml of solution contains 40 mg enoxaparin sodium equivalent to 4000 anti-Xa IU.

Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

Enoxaparin sodium is a biological substance obtained by alkaline depolymerization of heparin benzyl ester derived from porcine intestinal mucosa.

OKSAPAR is equivalent to 40 mg enoxaparin sodium. The medicine box contains 2, 10 and 20 0.4 ml ready-to-use syringes.

OKSAPAR belongs to a group of medicines called low molecular weight heparins. It is not used in the treatment of clots that have formed in the veins of your body. Its purpose is to prevent the formation of new clots in patients with clots.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

The dose of OKSAPAR you should use may vary depending on which condition it is prescribed for you.

To prevent blood clots from forming in the following situations:

Periods when movement will be restricted due to surgery or an illness

OKSAPAR can be used in two different heart attacks called STEMI (ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction) or non-STEMI (NSTEMI). The amount of OKSAPAR you will be given will be determined according to your age and the type of heart attack you have had.

Like all medicines, OKSAPAR may have side effects in people who are sensitive to its ingredients.

If one of the following occurs, stop using OKSAPAR or IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.

Any signs of a severe allergic reaction (for example, difficulty breathing, swelling of the lips, mouth, throat or eyes).

These are all very serious side effects.

If you have one of these, it means you have a serious allergy to OKSAPAR. You may need urgent medical attention or hospitalization.
