Before you start using this medicine, read this INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE carefully, because it contains important information for you.

ALGOPET is a blue colored, oval shaped, film-coated tablet with a notch on one side. Each film-coated tablet contains 100 mg flurbiprofen. It is available in blister packs of 15 and 30 tablets.

ALGOPET is in the group known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used to eliminate or relieve various pains.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

The recommended total daily dose is 150 mg-200 mg in divided doses.

This means taking one and a half or 2 tablets per day. Depending on the severity of your disease symptoms, the dose may be increased up to 300 mg per day.

The recommended dose of ALGOPET for the relief of signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis (where the body produces inflammation in joints and sometimes other tissues) or osteoarthritis (a condition of damage, pain and stiffness in non-inflammatory joints seen mostly in the elderly) is 200 to 300 mg per day, divided into two, three or four times a day.

For menstrual pain, initially take 100 mg, i.e. 1 tablet. Following this, you can take 50 mg-100 mg every 4-6 hours.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in ALGOPET.

If any of the following occur, stop using ALGOPET and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.
