BETABLOK SDK CONTROLLED RELEASE FILM COATED TABLET 50 mg

Active ingredient: Each tablet contains 47.50 mg metoprolol succinate, equivalent to 50 mg metoprolol tartrate.

Excipients: Corn starch, sucrose, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose, ethyl cellulose N50, polyethylene glycol 6000, talc, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose (Avicel PH 102), microcrystalline cellulose (Avicel PH 200), lubritab, sodium stearyl fumarate, titanium dioxide, polyvinylpyrrolidone K30.

BETABLOK SDK is a homogeneous, white, round, biconvex, film-coated tablet with a notch on one side. The score line is to allow the tablet to be broken to make it easier to swallow.

BETABLOK SDK 50 mg is available in packages of 20 or 30 tablets.

Metoprolol reduces the effect of stress hormones on the heart caused by physical and mental work. In this way, the heart rate (pulse decreases) slows down under these conditions.

BETABLOK SDK controlled-release film-coated tablet is a drug that works throughout the day and should be taken once a day.

Swallow the tablets whole with at least half a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablets.

The dose you need depends on your health condition and any other medications you are taking at the same time.

Like all medicines, there may be side effects in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in BETABLOK SDK.

Side effects are listed as follows;

Headache, dizziness, dizziness, decreased heart rate, palpitations, cold hands and feet, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, shortness of breath when physically active.

Increased sweating, hair loss, change in taste, temporary decrease in sexual desire, memory impairment, confusion, irritability, restlessness, hallucination, worsening of psoriasis, hypersensitivity to sunlight, decreased blood cell (platelet) count (thrombocytopenia), decreased heart rate, impaired heart rhythm, effect on the liver (increase in liver enzymes), visual disturbances, dry and irritated eyes, ringing in the ears, accumulation of fluid in the body, fainting, ear tinnitus
