ATOPIR is a combination of atorvastatin, which is in a group of drugs called statins that commonly regulate the level of fat in the blood, and acetylsalicylic acid, which acts by preventing the aggregation of clotting cells called platelets and is used in various heart diseases due to this feature.

ATOPİR is packaged in 30 and 90 capsules in Alu/Alu blister packaging and in a cardboard box with instructions for use.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

You should follow the standard cholesterol-lowering diet before starting treatment with ATOPIR and continuing throughout the treatment.

The recommended starting dose of ATOPIR is 10 mg/75 mg or 10 mg/100 mg. Your doctor will change the dose of ATOPIR if necessary.

The dose of acetylsalicylic acid contained in ATOPIR is as follows, unless your doctor gives a separate recommendation.

ATOPIR capsules should be swallowed whole with a sufficient amount of liquid, preferably after meals.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in ATOPIR.

If any of the following occur, stop using ATOPIR and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of the nearest hospital.

If your muscle problems continue after your doctor recommends that you stop using ATOPIR, inform your doctor immediately. In this case, your doctor may do more tests to find the cause of your muscle problems.

If you have any of these, you may need urgent medical attention or hospitalization.

All of these very serious side effects are extremely rare.
