POT-OUT can be administered orally or rectally. 1 sachet contains 15 grams of POT-OUT granules.

For oral use, 2-4×1 sachets (15 grams) of POT-OUT are used for the treatment of diagnosed high potassium in adults, and for rectal use, the average daily dose is 1-2×2 sachets (30 grams).

The duration of treatment depends on the potassium level. Potassium levels should be checked regularly. Your doctor will check your blood potassium level and terminate your treatment if necessary.

A low potassium diet is recommended during treatment.

As with all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in POT-OUT.

The following side effects may occur due to the blood potassium level falling below normal and the blood calcium level being high, depending on the properties of the drug.

Nausea, vomiting, constipation, stomach irritation, loss of appetite and diarrhea, acute bronchitis and/or pneumonia due to inhalation of calcium polystyrene sulfonate fragments.

Intestinal obstruction, accumulation of feces after rectal administration in children, and mass formation in the digestive tract after oral administration may occur.
