Active ingredient: Each coated tablet contains 200 mg ibuprofen.

Excipients: Dried starch, stearic acid, opaglos regular (Shellac, povidone, soybean oil), gum arabic, calcium sulfate dihydrate, sodium carboxy methyl cellulose, sucrose, opalux white AS 7000 (Titanium Dioxide (E171), sucrose, sodium benzoate (E211)), carnauba wax.

Instructions for proper use and dosage/frequency of administration

The usual daily dose is 1200-1800 mg per day in divided doses. Your doctor may increase your daily dose depending on the symptoms of your disease. However, the daily dose given in divided doses should not exceed 2400 mg.

Tablet forms of NUROFEN are not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age. For children under 12 years of age, it is recommended to use liquid forms (such as syrup, suspension) containing the same active ingredient. In juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (a specific rheumatic joint disease that occurs in children and adolescents), up to 40 mg/kg of body weight can be taken in divided doses.

The frequency of undesirable effects on the digestive system increases in the elderly. Therefore, if it must be used in elderly patients, the smallest possible effective dose and shortest treatment duration should be preferred.

Like all medicines, side effects may occur in people who are sensitive to the ingredients contained in NUROFEN®.

If any of the following occur, stop using NUROFEN® and IMMEDIATELY inform your doctor or go to the emergency department of your nearest hospital.

These are all very serious side effects. If you have one of these, it means you have a serious allergy to NUROFEN®. You may need emergency medical attention or hospitalization.

All of these very serious side effects are extremely rare.
